$12 trillion in goods move by freight every year, coordinated by people copy-pasting between email and spreadsheets. We’re building the AI that changes that.

Sidecar builds AI to run the global supply chain.

Ever wonder how your phone got to you from a factory in Shenzhen? Or how the jacket you ordered from Italy made it to your door in 5 days?

Behind every shipment is a freight forwarding company, a logistics middleman coordinating ships, customs, warehouses, and trucks across continents. These companies still run on emails, spreadsheets, PDFs, and terminal software from 1998. Their teams manually extract info from documents and respond to hundreds of emails and calls daily to execute business-specific workflows.

Sidecar is a 24×7 Virtual AI Teammate for these Logistics Service Providers: we call, email, log into systems, and do everything else needed to execute complex tasks autonomously.

We are backed by leading Silicon Valley VCs, angel investors, and industry advisors. We pay top-bracket salaries alongside meaningful equity.

The Role

You’ll own Sidecar’s video and content engine: from concept to final cut. Not “assist with shoots.” Own the camera, the edit, the publish.

This is an intern-to-perm role. You’ll ideate, shoot, edit, and ship video content that tells Sidecar’s story across LinkedIn, YouTube, Reels, Shorts, and whatever channel you think we should be on. If you’re great, you’ll have a full-time offer before your internship ends.

We’re not looking for a writer who occasionally films something. We want someone who thinks in frames, knows how to make a 60-second video that stops the scroll, and can go from concept to published cut in a day.

Here’s What You’ll Work On

  • Shoot video constantly: founder interviews, product demos, day-in-the-life clips, customer stories, behind-the-scenes, office culture. You’re always looking for the next shot. Phone, gimbal, DSLR: whatever gets the best footage.

  • Edit fast and ship daily: you live in CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or Final Cut. You can turn raw footage into a polished 60-second cut that stops the scroll. Colour grading, pacing, subtitles, sound design: you handle it all.

  • Ideate video concepts independently: you follow the AI, logistics, and startup space closely enough to know what’s worth filming. You pitch ideas and shot lists, not wait for briefs.

  • Build the production pipeline: concept → script → shoot → edit → publish → analytics. You systematise the whole thing so it runs like clockwork, not ad-hoc.

  • Write supporting content: scripts, captions, LinkedIn posts, threads. Video-first, but you can write the words that go around it.

  • Ideate marketing plans: beyond just content, you think about distribution, audience building, partnerships, and campaigns. You bring marketing ideas to the table, not just cuts.

  • Track what works: you care about views, watch time, engagement, and pipeline attribution. You double down on formats that work and kill what doesn’t.

Qualifications

  • A video portfolio that shows you ship. A YouTube channel, a Reels/Shorts page, video content for a brand or your own account: something where you shot it, edited it, and published it. Show us the work.

  • You’re a one-person production crew. You can concept, shoot, light, edit, colour grade, add subtitles, and publish: all by yourself. No waiting for a videographer or editor.

  • You know your tools. CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut: you’re fast in at least one. Bonus if you use Descript, Runway, or other AI tools to speed up your editing workflow.

  • AI-native. You use Claude, ChatGPT, Runway, Descript, Midjourney, or similar tools to move faster. You’ve used AI in your production workflow, not just “tried it once.”

  • Strong written English. Scripts, captions, posts: all need to land. You write in a voice that sounds human, not like a press release.

  • Self-directed. You don’t wait for a shot list from someone else. You see what’s happening and come to us with “here’s what we should film today and why.”

  • Bangalore-based, in-office, 6 days a week.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with motion graphics or animation (After Effects, Motion)

  • Exposure to B2B or SaaS video content: you understand the difference between engagement bait and content that drives pipeline

  • Interest in logistics, supply chain, or enterprise AI (you’ll learn fast if you don’t have this)

This Is NOT the Role If

  • You think content = writing a 500-word blog post once a week

  • You need a creative director to approve every cut before it goes out

  • You can’t shoot, edit, and publish video by yourself end-to-end

  • You’ve never shipped a video that real people watched

  • You want a portfolio internship where you make pieces nobody sees

Compensation

  • Competitive internship stipend with a clear path to full-time conversion

  • Meaningful ESOPs on conversion (not symbolic)

  • Lunch and dinner at the office + unlimited snacks, coffee, energy drinks

  • Health insurance

We work 996 out of our offices in Bangalore. We are highly selective and believe in only hiring and retaining the best.

If you’d rather build a content engine at an AI startup shipping real products than write briefs nobody reads at a big company, apply.
